Matt McWhirter

Matt McWhirter is a dedicated mortgage professional with over a decade of experience. A proven leader in the field, Matt has a solid reputation for integrity, a customer-first approach, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Prior to joining Steadfast Mortgage, Matt worked for F&M Bank for over 11 years where he was top producer year after year. He is also a proud recipient of the Scotsman Guide Award “Top Emerging Stars,” a testament to his dedication and hard work in the industry.

Matt serves as the treasurer for the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce, a position where he plays an essential role in fostering economic growth and promoting local businesses that allows him to give back to the community.  Matt also is a proud graduate from Leadership Clarksville in 2017 where he learned leadership skills to help with the rapid growth of Clarksville, TN and to experience multiple businesses within the Clarksville community. He also attended Austin Peay State University, where he learned the foundation of his finance skills.

When he isn't closing deals or spending time with his wife and two daughters, you can find Matt indulging in his hobbies. He is an avid golfer who loves the challenge and focus of the game. Additionally, he's committed to supporting his local community as a referee for high school football games throughout the Middle Tennessee surrounding areas.
